WESTON - The family of an Easton couple that went missing and was later found dead will have to wait another month for a possible plea deal in the case.

Kyle Navin is accused of murdering both of his parents, Jeffrey and Jeanette Navin in 2015. Some people at court today were expecting a possible guilty plea from him.

Navin will be back in court on March 16.

The couple was missing for nearly three months. There was a statewide search before their bodies were eventually found dumped behind a home in Weston.

One development that did happen in court today was that the truck that Jeanette Navin was allegedly murdered in will be returned to the family.

The state says it does not expect to need it for evidence at a possible trial.
