WILTON - The power is back on in Wilton after a thunderstorm yesterday knocked down two trees on Rocky Brook Road in Wilton.

Meanwhile, a downed tree caused Beech Road in New Canaan to be closed for several hours and caused dozens of people to lose power for several hours.

Another outage was reported in Fairfield when a downed wire on Sturges Road caused about 1,300 to lose power. Some of those people did not have power restored until this morning.
