Power restored in Stamford after car crash

Eversource Energy says that power has been restored to the Stamford residents left in the dark after a truck crashed into a utility pole.

Witnesses say the vehicle was speeding as it went across a lawn, snapped the utility pole, and finally hit a tree.

STAMFORD - Eversource Energy says that power has been restored to the Stamford residents left in the dark after a truck crashed into a utility pole.

The incident happened on Bouton Street.
