Power restored in Stratford after storm causes outage

Police say wires were knocked down on Main Street, near the intersection of Barnum Avenue, shortly before 10 a.m. today.

STRATFORD - Officials say power is back on to nearly all homes and businesses in Stratford.

Police say wires were knocked down on Main Street, near the intersection of Barnum Avenue, shortly before 10 a.m. today.

The road was closed between Barnum and Longbrook avenues as crews made repairs.

While power has been restored, officials say Town Hall will remain closed for the day.
