STAMFORD - With the Powerball jackpot estimated at up to $252 million, residents are rushing to buy as many tickets as possible for tonight?s drawing.

The odds are 195 million to 1, but many Stamford residents hope their odds increase if they buy tickets from the Elm Street Market, which has a reputation for selling winning tickets.

Last month, Isidro Herenadaz walked away with $200,000 after buying a winning Powerball ticket at the store.

Tonight's drawing takes place just before 11 p.m. and lotto retailers say they can sell tickets up until 9:50 p.m.
