BRIDGEPORT - Fire officials say flames broke out close to 4:30 a.m. Sunday on the third floor of a multifamily home on Capitol Avenue in Bridgeport.

Police blocked off the street as firefighters extinguished the flames. Officials say the home, especially the third floor, suffered quite a bit of damage.

Though no one was hurt, the family who lives on the third floor has been displaced.

Firefighters are investigating the cause of the blaze.
