GREENWICH - A Greenwich woman will take part in Monday's Opening Day ceremony at Yankee Stadium honoring the victims of the Newtown massacre.

Sara Herbert-Galloway, who helped organize the tribute, says that the Opening Day ceremonies will help the nation realize that important decisions have to be made to prevent another mass killing.

"We have to do something about gun control. We have to do something about mental health, so that this doesn't repeat itself," said Herbert-Galloway.

The pre-game ceremony will have a moment of silence, along with a joint honor guard of Newtown police and firefighters. The Town of Newtown seal will be painted in front of the Yankees' dugout and both the Yankees and Red Sox will wear a ribbon in memory of the victims.
