NORWALK - Voters in Norwalk and Stratford were among those headed to the polls yesterday for primary elections.

In Norwalk, the Republicans selected Charlie Yost over James Anderson to be the candidate for third district tax commissioner.

In Stratford, three primary races were held.

In the 4th District, Democrats endorsed incumbent Jason Santi, over challenger Michael Singh.

In the 5th District, Republicans picked John Dempsey over challenger Linda Palermo.

And in the 7th District, Craig Budnick beat Diane Buda to be the Republican candidate in November.
