Dozens of supporters gathered in prayer near the Summit Women's Center in Bridgeport during today's March for Life marking the 39th anniversary of the Roe

BRIDGEPORT - Dozens of supporters gathered in prayer near the Summit Women's Center in Bridgeport during today's March for Life marking the 39th anniversary of the Roe vs. Wade decision. "Supreme Court decision which created out of thin air this so-called right for privacy, which put the unborn baby at terrible peril," says state Rep. T. R. Rowe (R-Trumbull).Organizers of the March for Life claim 40 abortions are performed daily in Connecticut - a statistic that wasn't disputed by a group of pro-choice counter-protesters.Summit Women's Center's employees say they shut down the clinic today to join the pro-choice rally. "The majority of our patients are domestic violence patients, and carrying a pregnancy to term was just not an option in terms of safety," says Rebecca Willman, of Summit Women's Center.
