BRIDGEPORT - Video gambling could be coming to southwestern Connecticut.

Members of a state legislative task force say they are likely to recommend adding the machines at the three off-track betting centers in the state.

They say the money would help make up for a drop in slot revenue at Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun casinos.

The plan would be to authorize slots and video gambling at locations in Bridgeport, New Haven and Windsor Locks.

Bridgeport city officials say it's too soon to tell how many jobs video gambling and slots might add, or what impact they would have on the city.
