NORWALK - Police are searching for a puppy that was stolen during a home burglary in Norwalk.

An 8-week-old pit bull was taken from a home on Hemlock Place. The homeowner says her dog, named Lola, was stolen from her home about a month ago.

Police say it is not uncommon for puppies to be stolen. They say a dog like Lola can be sold for a lot of money.

Police say the puppy does not have a microchip.
