BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport parents are protesting what they call the light suspension of a principal caught on camera dragging two students down a hallway.
Carmen Perez-Dickson was suspended last week for six months without pay and will be reassigned to another administrative job. Some parents argue that Perez-Dickson should have been fired.
Angel Resto and Albert Benejan, who serve on the district's Parent Advisory Committee, say witnesses who testified against Perez-Dickson appeared unsure about what they saw on surveillance video.

Dickson's lawyer had said her actions were appropriate for the situation and the Bridgeport school board makes physical force an option when necessary.
