BRIDGEPORT - A Bridgeport woman says she'll be homeless by this afternoon because she's being forced out of a shelter due to time limits.

The woman, who asked to be called Donna, says she's been at the shelter since she was raped and beaten by her estranged husband.

Donna says she and her children are being asked to leave the shelter, which means the state Department of Children and Families will get involved.

The shelter refused to comment about the situation.
