Raymond Kamaitis killed in Wilton crash

Wilton police are investigating a fatal car crash. Police say a SUV hit a tree on Old Ridgefield Road Wednesday night.

WILTON - Wilton police are investigating a fatal car crash.

Police say a SUV hit a tree on Old Ridgefield Road Wednesday night.

Officers say when they got to the scene, the driver, Raymond Kamaitis, 66, did not show signs of life.

Police say Kamaitis was taken to Norwalk Hospital and pronounced dead later that night.

They say a passenger in the SUV was seriously hurt and also taken to the hospital.
