Real estate agent accused in thefts

Police say Maurice Earley Sr. is facing additional charges after more victims came forward. (3/14/14)

Bridgeport police say they have filed additional charges against a real estate agent for stealing money from dozens of clients.

They say Maurice Earley Sr. worked as a real estate broker and promised to find people apartments to rent.

They say he took money for security deposits, but then did not deliver on his promise to find them housing.

Police say after they first arrested Earley last year 33 other victims came forward.
