REDDING - Police in Redding say they are investigating seven home break-ins that have occurred in town over the past three months.

Police tell News 12 that there have been two burglaries just in the past week - one on Route 107, the other on Dan Beard Lane.

At one home, police say the victims reported that $10,000 worth of jewelry was stolen.

Investigators are looking into whether the burglaries are connected.

Typically, Redding police say they only deal with an average of 10 home burglaries a year.
