REDDING - Redding police are cracking down on distracted driving.

They are participating in a campaign called "Phone In One Hand, Ticket In The Other." 

Police say they will be looking for drivers using their phones behind the wheel. 

Officers say they handed out more than 2,000 tickets during their two previous campaigns.
