Rell unveils budget plan

HARTFORD - Gov. Jodi Rell unveiled her plan to cut a projected $1.3 billion budget deficit for the fiscal year starting in July.

Rell's plan calls for selling bonds over the next seven years, taking money from energy conservation funds and potentially getting higher state revenues from Bradley International Airport.

Legislators met with the governor Thursday to discuss the budget.
