BRIDGEPORT - The wrecking ball is expected to swing this morning in Bridgeport as more of the old Remington Arms plant will come down.

The city is demolishing the buildings after a major fire last month.

Several fires have broken out at the plant in recent years, many started by homeless people trying to stay warm.

City officials say they want the condemned property torn down because of all the fires there over the years.
