WESTON - In Weston, residents are learning more about renovation plans for the town's police department and communications center.

A meeting was held last night to discuss the latest on the construction project.

The plan calls for renovating Weston's Town Hall to accommodate both centers rather than constructing a new building.

They say a new building would cost more than $10 million, while the renovation plan costs about $4 million.

The Weston Police Commission approved the renovation plan last month, but the building committee decided last night to gather more information.
