WASHINGTON - Former Congressman Chris Shays is reportedly "very interested" in launching a Senate bid to replace retiring Sen. Joe Lieberman.

Rollcall.com reports Shays is looking into a run but needs to work out a few personal issues first.

Shays served as a moderate 10-term republican congressman before he was defeated in 2008 by Democratic Congressman Jim Himes.

The report also indicates former World Wrestling Entertainment chief executive Linda McMahon may run for that Senate seat in 2012 and could make a decision near the end of the month.
