EASTON - The owners of the Easton house where a missing couple lives are reportedly trying to evict them.

The Connecticut Post reports Jeffrey and Jeanette Navin rented a home on Staples Road before they disappeared in early August.

The Post says the people who own the home filed the paperwork to go inside and the change the locks.

Police say they searched the land behind the home this week for clues but didn't find anything.
