Report: New Canaan teen strikes plea deal

A plea deal with no prison time has been reached in the case of the New Canaan teen driver who hit and killed a jogger

NEW CANAAN - A plea deal with no prison time has been reached in the case of the New Canaan teen driver who hit and killed a jogger in Norwalk while on her cell phone, according to the Norwalk Hour.

Prosecutors say Brianna McEwen hit and killed Kenneth Dorsey as he was running on New Canaan Avenue last March.

The Hour reports McEwen will be sentenced to three years probation on Friday.
