BRIDGEPORT - A new report says police are investigating claims that state Rep. Christina Ayala attacked her ex's new girlfriend.

The Connecticut Post says the alleged victim claims she was attacked while she with Pedro Rodriguez, Ayala's ex-boyfriend.

The same woman also sent News 12 Connecticut harassing text messages she claims are from Ayala.

Earlier this week, police said Rodriguez was arrested for setting Ayala and her sister's cars on fire.
