BRIDGEPORT - Connecticut residents tonight stocked up on rock salt and other supplies in preparation of Saturday's snowstorm. A winter storm watch has been issued for most of the area beginning late tonight and News 12 Connecticut meteorologists are predicting 4-6 inches of snow tomorrow.

Managers at the Bridgeport Home Depot say snow supplies are flying off the shelves.

Shoppers in Norwalk also stocked up on food, getting an early start on their weekend grocery shopping.

Managers at Stew Leonard say business was up 30 percent from a normal Friday.
