GREENWICH - Residents across southwestern Connecticut say they're concerned they'll be left in the dark as an ice storm moves through the area.

According to Connecticut Light & Power and United Illuminating, outages are possible with the anticipated storm because of heavy ice on power lines and surrounding trees.

In the Cos Cob section of Greenwich, neighbors on Arrowhead Lane say they have bad memories after going five days without electricity following a powerful nor'easter last March.

Some residents say they've purchased generators to avoid repeating that experience.
