Residents grill Gov. Malloy on budget plan

STAMFORD - Residents packed the auditorium at UConn Stamford last night to grill Gov. Dannel Malloy on his budget plan.

One state worker wondered why the unions have to take a hit.

The former Mayor of Stamford defended his budget plan which is designed to reduce the state's almost $3.5 billion deficit.

Malloy told the audience he's trying to make a down payment on the debt, something that should have been done a while ago.
