HARTFORD - Residents flocked to the polls today to vote in the Democratic primaries.

One of the closest races is for governor. The latest poll released yesterday had former Stamford Mayor Dan Malloy and Greenwich businessman Ned Lamont in a statistical tie heading into today.

Malloy and his wife showed up at Our Lady Star of the Sea church in Shippan to cast their ballots early this morning. Lamont and his wife voted at Greenwich High School.
