DARIEN - Restaurants and cafes that service commuters along Metro-North's New Haven Line are feeling the pinch amid the railroad's current service outage.

Workers at two of these businesses, Dunkin' Donuts and Upper Crust Bagel Company, say customers have been coming in at a much slower pace. The manager of Upper Crust Bagel Company says he has noted a 40 percent decline in morning customers.

Store workers add that they cannot wait for trains to start running on a normal schedule.
