Riverlights Boat Parade along Housatonic River displays lights and music for cancer research

As part of the sixth annual Riverlights Boat Parade, more than a dozen boats floated down the Housatonic River decked out with lights and music.

The proceeds will be going to St. Vincent's Swim Across the Sound.

NORWALK - As part of the sixth annual Riverlights Boat Parade, more than a dozen boats floated down the Housatonic River decked out with lights and music.

The parade began at the Route 1/I-95 bridges and traveled down river to Knapps Landing Restaurant in Stratford.

The event raises money for cancer research and the proceeds will be going to St. Vincent's Swim Across the Sound.
