Road reopens after water main break in Greenwich

GREENWICH - Indian Field Road has reopened in Greenwich following a water main break.

The street had been closed for most of the morning due to the break near the intersection with East Putnam Avenue.

Aquarion reported the break at about 1 a.m., but said the line wasn't fixed until about 11 a.m. The road remained closed for another half-hour.

About 25 customers had their water service affected.
