Robbers strike again at Fairfield bank

Fairfield police are looking for the man who held up the Peoples United Bank on Stratfield Road Wednesday.Police say the robber fled in a red

FAIRFIELD - Fairfield police are looking for the man who held up the Peoples United Bank on Stratfield Road Wednesday.

Police say the robber fled in a red pickup truck that was driven by someone else.

The robbery comes less than a month after the bank was hit by two men who had called ahead to demand their money be ready when they arrived. Police were waiting for those robbers.

Anyone with information about the latest robbery is urged to call Fairfield police at 203-254-4840.
