WESTPORT - Police are asking for the public's help after robbers targeted the same Westport bank twice in a span of 24 hours.

Investigators say someone passed a note to the teller at the TD Bank on Charles Street Friday demanding money. However, that person got nervous and ran off.

The next day, police say an individual wearing a mask and fake beard managed to take an undisclosed amount of money from the same bank.

Police will not say if the incidents are related. Anyone with information is urged to call the Westport Police Department at 203-341-6000.
