STAMFORD - A Stamford man has been sentenced to five years in prison after police found thousands of images of child pornography on his computer.

Roland Roqueta, 70, was sentenced in court Friday. He was arrested last December, after police raided his apartment and found the pornographic images.

Roqueta lived next door to Westover Elementary School.

Court officials say once Roqueta is released from prison, he'll be on probation for 25 years and on the state's sex offender registry for 10 years.
