Russell Peeler's trial continues in 1998 Bridgeport murder of Rudy Snead

BRIDGEPORT - Testimony continues today in the murder trial of a Bridgeport man who is already on death row.

Russell Peeler is accused of gunning down rival drug dealer Rudy Snead in a barbershop in 1998.

He is currently on death row for ordering his brother to kill a witness to the Snead shooting, 8-year-old B.J. Brown and Brown's mother, Karen Clarke.

One witness who took the stand yesterday says he was in the barbershop when the shooting happened.

Jurors also listened to transcript testimony from the medical examiner, who says Snead was shot six times.
