Sacred Heart student claims she was hazed

BRIDGEPORT - A student at Sacred Heart University says she was so traumatized by a hazing incident that she wants to leave the university.Junior Jasmine Vega, a criminal justice major, says she wanted to join Delta Phi Kappa so she could make friends and feel part of something on campus.Vega claims a group of sorority sisters kidnapped her and other pledges, took her to a basement, hit her and forced her to do army drills. Since the night of the alleged attack, Vega says she has feared for her safety and had anxiety attacks.Sacred Heart released a statement which said the alleged incident is being investigated.
