Safe Rides program launches in Norwalk

A program that gets teens home safely has launched in Norwalk. Safe Rides gives teens a free lift within the city no questions asked.

The program runs every weekend from 10 p.m. Saturday until 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

NORWALK - A program that gets teens home safely has launched in Norwalk.

Safe Rides gives teens a free lift within the city, no questions asked.   

The program runs every weekend from 10 p.m. Saturday until 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

Organizers say students need to pre-register to be eligible.
