GREENWICH - The Salvation Army hosted a food drive today in Greenwich to benefit the nonprofit group Neighbor to Neighbor and the town's Department of Social Services.
Organizers say supplies at food pantries are low this time of year and urge people to take the time to donate. They collected food and other items in the meeting room at Town Hall throughout the day.
They say the most-needed items include cereal, canned fruits, peanut butter and jelly.
Even though today's drive is over, residents can get more information on how to donate by calling Alison Brush at 203-622-3715.
