NEWTOWN - An attorney with Connecticut's Freedom of Information Commission is recommending that the 911 calls from the Newtown school shooting be released.

She says she does not think releasing the records will jeopardize the investigation.

The Associated Press is asking the commission to force investigators to hand over the recordings.

A hearing on the issue will be held later this month.
