NORWALK - A playground to honor one of the victims of the Newtown tragedy will soon be built in Norwalk.

A city councilman says that playground will be in Oyster Shell Park.

It is part of the Sandy Ground Project, which was started by firefighters in New Jersey.

The group is building 26 memorial parks throughout the tri-state area in honor of each of the 26 victims.

Volunteers recently completed memorial playgrounds in Westport and Stratford.
