BRIDGEPORT - The principal of the Bridgeport Military Academy is back on the job.
Bridgeport school officials fired Byron Williams two weeks ago after he allegedly failed to submit paperwork required to work in a state school.
However, parents were not happy with his replacement, and demanded he get his position back at a meeting earlier this week.

Officials say Williams met with Superintendent Paul Vallas, and agreed that he would serve as interim principal until his paperwork is approved.
