Second suspect sought in restaurant shooting

BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport police are on the hunt this morning for a second suspect involved in a restaurant robbery.

Police say two armed men tried to hold up the Peking Chinese Restaurant on Wade Street on Sunday.

They say the restaurant owner pulled out a gun and shot Allen Dixon, 21, in the stomach.

Dixon and his accomplice fled the scene, but crashed their car a few blocks away.

Police found Dixon unresponsive, and he later died.

Police say the restaurant owner's gun was legally registered and it's unlikely any charges will be filed against him.
