NORWALK - Sen. Bob Duff (D-Norwalk) got more than his usual police ride-along Wednesday morning.

Duff, who routinely rides with police, says a chase started near Colonial Village on West Cedar Street around 1:30 a.m. He says police attempted to pull over the driver of a van with missing plates and one working headlight.

The suspect gave a slow chase down Connecticut Avenue and then onto I-95. According to Duff, Darien police joined in on the chase. Duff says the driver eventually surrendered.
