FAIRFIELD - The FBI is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in a string of bank robberies spanning two states.
Police say the suspect has held up seven banks, including four in Connecticut. The suspect robbed the Chase Bank and the People's United Bank in Greenwich, then two Fairfield banks just days later. His latest robbery was at a Chase Bank in New Rochelle, N.Y.
Private investigator and former Trumbull police sergeant Chris Paoletti says the suspect is taking a tremendous chance by robbing banks during the busiest times of the day.
