Series of pizza delivery robberies continues

NORWALK - Norwalk police are investigating another pizza delivery robbery that happened Thursday night.

Lupe Diaz, owner of Uncle's Pizza on Stevens Street, says one of his drivers, a women in her 30s, was robbed at gunpoint on Camp Street after delivering an order.

Sgt. Lisa Cotto, of the Norwalk Police Department, says after six to seven weeks of robberies, pizzeria owners and their drivers are taking precautions.

"A couple weeks ago, a pizza delivery person saw a bunch of kids outside a house and gave us a call," she says.

So far, no arrests have been made in the string of robberies.
