Service held for Fairfield man killed in upstate NY crash

Mourners from across the region came together Friday to remember a former Fairfield resident who was killed in a car crash over the weekend.

The memorial service for 24-year-old Torin Bond was held at First Church Congregational on Beach Road.

FAIRFIELD - Mourners from across the region came together Friday to remember a former Fairfield resident who was killed in a car crash over the weekend.

The memorial service for 24-year-old Torin Bond was held at First Church Congregational on Beach Road.

Bond and 26-year-old Lean Andrews, of Keene Valley, died after the car she was driving sped out of control and hit a tree in upstate New York.

Friends of Bond say that they remember him as someone who left a strong impression on the community and touched many lives.
