STAMFORD - Metro-North says service is back to normal after a derailment at the Stamford Train Yard meant delays for the morning commute.

A MTA spokesman says the derailment happened around 4 a.m. and there were no passengers on board.

They say it was a "slow-speed" event and no one was hurt but the train was blocking a track causing equipment shortages.
