BRIDGEPORT - Several people are facing charges following a fight that involved Bridgeport police.

Police say the fight broke out as they were trying to break up a crowd of about 300 people outside Club Lo on Pine Street Saturday morning.

Officers say Vanessa Tassaft-Ramirez, 29, refused to leave. They say she spit in an officer's face and came at him with her arms raised, so the officer punched her in the face and arrested her.

Officials also say a man struggled with an officer when he tried to arrest him and then another man came at them.

Police say the officer punched the second man in the face and arrested him as well.
