SHELTON - Members of the federal Joint Terrorism Task Force surrounded and secured a house in Shelton where the man accused of planting a car bomb in Times Square is believed to have lived.
Authorities believe Faisal Shahzad moved out of the Long Hill Avenue home last May before moving to Bridgeport.
For the past year, the home has sat empty. Many neighbors say they believed it was in foreclosure. While living in the home, neighbors say the Shahzads mostly kept to themselves.
Investigators are not commenting on what they are looking for.
