WESTPORT - Some local residents spent the morning shopping for themselves while also giving back to those in need.

The Westport Country Playhouse sponsored a food drive a the Stop & Shop on Main Avenue in Norwalk this morning.

Shoppers who donated a non-perishable food item were given a ticket voucher to an upcoming production of Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night, or What You Will."

All food collected will be given to the Connecticut Food Bank.

The show will be held on Oct. 11th and on Nov. 5th.
